Come ride with the guachos
Ride
Every day at the estancia is different. Enjoy long open canters along grassy hilltops, ride to a mountain like and take a refreshing dip in natural rock pools, visit local churches on horseback or help the gauchos round up the cattle or bring in the young horses.
The herd of over 130 horses offers something to delight everyone. For riders of all abilities, sure-footed and tough criollo, energetic and smooth gaited Peruvian Paso horses or strong and even-tempered quarter horses and agile and fast polo ponies.
The option to try your hand at lassoing or take on the locals at gaucho games make for perfect afternoons - and no trip to Argentina would be complete without trying your hand at polo.
Come join us for extensive and adventurous (multi-day) trail rides through the magnificent mountains, help out the gauchos or join us for an exciting polo game!

The Estancia
The estancia is located on the beautiful but little-known range of hills known as the ‘Sierras Chicas.’ Nestled between the Pampas and the Andes, the area is designated provincial reserve, renowned for its stunning scenery, abundant wildlife and rural traditions. Despite its privileged location, the estancia is less than an hour's drive from the international airport of Córdoba, with connections to Europe, Chile, Peru, Brazil, Panama and the United States.
We're easy to reach from Córdoba but away from the tourist trail. Offering a unique insight into rural culture and traditions, we invite you to share our home and lifestyle.
Farmed by the family for four generations, today Kevin and Louisa Begg delight in welcoming guests to share their home and lifestyle, providing a unique and unforgettable riding holiday.

Los Pots Kitchen
Our Chefs love to invite guests into the gorgeous farm kitchen to learn how to make traditional favourites such as empanadas and homemade breads and pastas. As with everything in Argentina food has its traditions, recipes have been handed down from generation to generation, nothing is written and no secrets are shared. Although we are known for our beef; empanadas, pasta and pizza play a big role in the country’s food and are a large part of our menu at Los Potreros.
You'll get to experience the traditional Argentine asado or barbecue, plus freshly baked bread and homemade dishes, all supplemented by the estancia's home-reared beef and organically grown vegetables, fruit and free-range eggs. We also can't wait for you to try Estancia Los Potreros's ‘own label’ wines, which often accompany some great conversations, well into the night.
